Sibling Doula Services

 

A sibling doula provides continuous care for older child(ren) during labor, birth and the immediate postpartum period. Sibling support packages are custom fit to families’ specific needs.

 

Full Sibling Doula Services include:

  • One, 3-hour prenatal visit to establish trust and familiarity with your child(ren) while preparing for their care during your birthing time. This visit is an in-depth discussion of you and your child(ren)’s relevant personal history and family dynamic. We’ll create a plan of action for birthing time and assess your postpartum support and anticipated needs. The remainder of our visit includes child care (either with you and/or your partner present or not) so your child(ren) and I get to know each other well and are prepared for our time together during your birth. We can also incorporate prenatal services for mama and/or the household upon request. Additional hours are available at my hourly rate. We can also split the 3 hour meeting into two, 1.5 hour visits if preferred.

  • Continuous care for your children while you labor, birth and during the immediate postpartum time. I am on call for your birth with a plan in place to care for your child(ren) and home. The duration of care will be determined by our planning as well as a “wait and see what happen at the birth” approach.   • First Meeting Family Photography - Documents your child(ren)’s first meeting with their new sibling. Available upon request. See examples of my photography HERE.
